This Saturday 22 men of the Savannah Diocese will be ordained in Savannah. Of these 22 are our own Dave Hayden, Tom Eden, and Don Coates. May God Bless them as they begin this ministry.

One new priest, 22 new deacons to be ordained

Bishop J. Kevin Boland will ordain 22 men to the permanent diaconate on Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m., at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Savannah. The men and their parishes are: J. Dublin; Gerald R. Clark, Saint Frances Cabrini, Savannah; Donald R. Coates, Saint Joseph, Macon; Kerry C. Diver, Saint Teresa of Avila, Grovetown; Thomas J. Eden, Saint Joseph, Macon; Peter H. Falkenhausen, III, Saint John the Evangelist, Valdosta; Richard A. Halbur, Saint Stephen, First Martyr, Hinesville; David V. Hayden, Saint Joseph, Macon; Robert J. Kepshire, Saint Teresa of Avila, Grovetown; David L. Kriegel, Saint Michael, Fort Gordon; James F. Lloyd, Saint Joseph, Augusta; Kenneth R. Maleck, Saint Mary on the Hill, Augusta; Michael J. Bishop Boland will ordain Deacon Mariusz K. Fuks to the priesthood at the Cathedral on Saturday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m.
All are invited to participate in these celebrations.

Thank you for all your prayers for the Deacons of our Diocese, especially for Don Coates, Tom Eden and Dave Hayden. This Sunday (6/8) at the 9:30 Mass, all three deacons will be recognized and we will have a reception honoring them following the Mass.
